I can’t think of any really simple way; more importantly, why do you need to? With so many people on MySpace as it is, I don’t think we need to give sex offenders abother way to find victims, especially even younger victims.
How can I design a webpage?
So i would like to make a new web page for my Fraternity and just have the basic stuff in it like history, news, contact info, pics etc. i was wondering what software is easy to use and will make my page look professional. thanks

How do I design my webpage without a template?
I bought a domain from godaddy.com and I’m ready to jump in and design my page but I don’t like any of the hosting sites templates. How can I just type in my HTML code on my own, without the templates?

And then what do I do with it once I’ve typed it into notepad?
Okay, I guess I’m not being specific enough in my question. I know how to write it, I know how to save it. I don’t know how to get my notepad file to my webpage. How do I upload it or publish it?
I tried using Microsoft Front Page but it said I needed my ftp server and I have no idea what this is or how to find it on godaddy.com

Use webpage-making software like MS Frontpage or Dreamweaver or notepad (if you are really an expert in html) and save it in html format. Use index.htm for your homepage.
After you typed it in notepad, save it as ‘filename.html’. make sure to type .html after the file name.

MySQL and PHP work together. However, they are not all that easy to learn. It takes time.
If you’re going to start selling things online, what you may want to consider doing is using PayPal as a service. I’m a web designer (not a programmer/database professional) and PayPal is easy enough to figure out. I’m not saying you won’t run into more complex issues, but PayPal offers a developer community that can answer questions that you may have while working on it. This works relatively well if you have only a smaller number of products to sell (1-75). If you have over 75 products to sell, I would recommend that you go out and find a programmer who can set up a custom ecommerce solution for you as managing more than that would be a real problem.
How wide should I design a webpage (in pixels) so it prints fine?
I need to know how many pixels wide I need to create a page so all the text and images appear fine – so none of the page gets cut off when it prints. What is the standard? 860 pixels or something?
I am not lookig for screen resolution, I am looking for the exact pixel width that prints to a standard 8.5×11 page. 800×600 pixels are the screen size, not the print page dimensions…
An 8.5 x 11 page is about 540 pixels wide and 720 pixels tall.
In printer’s measures, there are 12 points to a pica and 6 picas to an inch, so that’s 72 points per inch (or 72 dots per inch, or 72 dpi, the standard resolution of a computer screen).
You need to allow for a half-inch margin either way or some printers will not be able to print the page.
Therefore, 7.5 x 72 = 540 pixels; 10 x 72 = 720 pixels.
You may find some variance in the widths you can actually print, but this is a good starting size.
Also, if you are using CSS for layout, you can specify an @media print to specify a different body / layout size for printing vs display.

Well, I won’t write out the code for you, but how about this very simple design:
Create a table to hold the x’s and o’s. You can also use functionality of the table to draw the lines between the letters.
Create an "X" image, an "O" image, and a blank image. first create the table with each square using a blank image.
Add an onClick function to each image.
When the onClick function is called it should determine whether X or O is the next option for that square (and test that an X or O doesn’t already exist there), and it should change the image from the blank to an X or an O.
Voila. Should be that simple.
You can add in functionality to maintain a small data structure to check for a winning condition and take some action based on that winning condition.
